Pantai Penyabong, Johor

Last Monday my friend Jazian called and ask me to company him and his daughter Fatin for a journey of 4nights to his sisters hometown at Raub, Rompin and Pekan, Pahang to celebrates Fatin's birthday. So I said why not? Straight away he picked me up and we're on our way to Jazian's hometown!

About 30 minutes drive from one of Jazian's sisters house at Rompin, Pahang there is a beautiful beach call Pantai Penyabong, Johor. The beach was originally known as Pantai Pasir Lanun (Pirate's Sand), on account of beliefs that pirates used to hide their loot in the sand. It was an ideal spot to come to shore and get fresh water. Pantai Penyabong is 36 km from Mersing. Take Route 36 from Mersing all the way to Endau town. There, make a right turn at the junction to State Route J182, and go all the way to the end, passing the villages fronting the sea on your left
